The single hopper with a capacity of 1 600 l can be used in combination with a single grain seed drill (Maestro RV/RX), a seed drill (Express 4 KR, Taro line) or for tillage (Terrano FX) for deep fertilisation . There are also many application options in the sector of hybrid farming - in combination with a transformer VF or a Finer SL. The compact design of the Partner FT allows for an optimum visibility to the front. The feed opening is large and allows for a quick filling with a front loader or a telehandler.

An additional weight of 360 kg can be added to the Partner FT (empty weight 700 kg) as an option. The tractor, thus, is ideally balanced even if the front hopper is empty. For an optimum soil presentation the front hopper can be equipped with an intermediate packer. A RollPack packer with an additional weight of 280 kg and a tyre packer with an additional weight of 230 kg are available.

High throughput capacities are possible when applying fertiliser to be prepared for all situations and operational speeds. Beside the possibility to apply high seed rates, the advantage of the pressurised hopper Partner FT is that no dust is released in front of the tractor. The transport to the fertiliser/seed coulter is carried out in a closed system.

The Partner 2000 FT is a double hopper and has a total capacity of 2 200 l. Depending on the application, two basic versions are available:

Double hopper with a 60:40 partition

Configuration allows for applying seed and fertiliser, 2 x seeds or 2 different fertilisers. The assignment of the two differently-sized hoppers can be selected freely.

Double hopper with a 75:25 partition

Combination of a large hopper capacity for seed or granulated fertiliser and an additional capacity of 550 l for micro-granular compounds with the new HORSCH fine metering insert. The double hopper Partner 2000 FT is the ideal complement for all applications in the seeding and tillage sector where two components are required.

The basic equipment version of the Partner 2000 FT weighs 1 040 kg and can be equipped with an additonal weight of 360 kg. If the front hopper is used for sowing, the passively steered tyre packer distributes the total weight over a width of 1.30 m.

HORSCH rotors stand for utmost flexibility with regard to the application of different components. Depending on seed rate and operational speed when sowing, there are different rotors to choose from. For machines with double drop tube and two seed towers, only rotors with two spacing discs or, depending on the metering system, double rotors may be used to guarantee the half-width shut-off as well as a precise seed distribution.

The HORSCH metering system ensures a precise maintenance of the adjusted seed rate and an optimum seed distribution across the whole working width of the pneumatic seed drill.

The rotor selection programe allows for finding the appropriate rotor quickly and easily. All specifications are reference values that depend on the adjustment and the machine. We always recommend a calibration test before sowing.

If a non-optimal rotor has been installed, the valves above the metering devices will help. A valve above the metering device is installed as standard in the single hopper injector machines. The valves for machines with a pressurised hopper are inside the integrated toolbox and can be inserted without any tools if required. This allows for a fast replacement of the rotor even if the hopper is full without losing any seed.

The HORSCH quick coupling device for the pneumatic tubes of the front hopper FT make the mounting and dismantling of the pneumatic hoses of mounted implements and the front hopper very easy. The easy handling without tools saves time when mounting and dismantling various implements, e. g. a Taro 6 SL, Express 4 KR or a HORSCH Maestro RV/RX.

The HORSCH Partner holder kit for pneumatic tubing on standard tractors consists of a flexible attachment arm that fixes and holds the pneumatic tubing. The height and the angle of the arm can be adjusted depending on the tractor.

An electrical half-width shut-off at the Partner front hopper can be chosen as an option instead of the mechanical half-width shut-off to save fertiliser and seed.

As standard, a lot of machines are equipped with a distribution tower. A second distribution tower is available as an option. You can choose between a mechanical and an electric half-width shut-off. With a SectionControl activation the whole system can be automated. Avoiding overlapping reduces the seed requirement and prevents overfertilisation on the headlands and on wedges. Thus, the farmer can save costs quite easily.

Confusing field and farm exits increase the risk of overlooking something in traffic. The camera system at the HORSCH front hoppers allows for an optimum monitoring of the passing traffic when leaving these crucial areas. Due to the two cameras on the right and left of the front hopper and the divided screen, the driver sees all that is happening to the right and to the left side of the front hopper. This reduces the stress on the driver and increases traffic safety.
