This is what Mykola says about his Maestro:
„All adjustments that have to be made at this machine are very easy to carry out. All adjustment components are mounted outside the seed unit - a very positive detail that makes this machine stand out from the others.“
Mykola and his team farm 10,000 ha with two crops – sunflowers and maize. In the Ukraine, sunflowers and maize are highly economic cash crops. The sunflowers for example are processed to oil directly at the farm.
In season 2021 for example, they seeded 360 ha in one day with the Maestro: „Due to the new technology, we can seed row crops with this machine with an operational speed of 16 km/h. The maximum speed while seeding was 24 km/h – without any quality losses.“
Mykola is impressed by the machine and its equipment options: he can apply liquid fertiliser, the AirSpeed metering system ensures a good seed distribution and the automatic coulter pressure regulation system AutoForce ensures a constant depth placement.
PS: In the video, the Maestro was used for the first time for seeding rape at a subsidiary farm.
