Anton Reetz about his Maestro SV

“Singulation is excellent. Efficiency is high” and “The service life of the wear parts is high, too.” These are Anton’s main arguments why he is impressed by the machine.

He also points out the comfort for the driver. There are only a few adjustments that have to be carried out and the driver has a rather relaxed working day. Due to systems like for example AutoForce that automatically adapts the coulter pressure to different soil conditions and ensures an optimum and even seed placement, operation in his opinion is very comfortable. “Thus, the driver can work in a very stress-free way.”

Reetz has been sowing rapeseed for 4 years. He describes the advantages of sowing rapeseed with a single grain seed drill: save seed, better seed-soil contact and the option to carry out mechanical weed control in the future.

With regard to sowing rapeseed, he particularly likes the small row tanks.  In addition to the large fertiliser tank and the central hopper, they are mounted in the row for e.g. maize seed. They allow for sowing fine seeds without any major modifications. “This is quite unique in the market.”
