HORSCH Maschinen GmbH Maestro ExperienceTour | Alexandre Di Domenico

This is what Alexandre Di Domenico says about the Maestros:

When looking for a machine which would facilitate the transport between the fields, the farm encountered the Maestro. The machine convinced them due to its “efficiency, sowing quality and the state-of-the-art technology”.

The farm manager attaches major importance to sowing quality. Brazilian farmers partly sow directly into catch crops, like for example millet. And in this respect, placement quality, is very important. “With the HORSCH machines the seed can be placed optimally in the millet.”

The farm uses the Maestros to sow soybeans, maize and, this year for the first time, brachiaria (grass in tropical regions that is cultivated as a catch crop or as forage grass). For Alexandre Di Domenico

another important asset beside the placement quality is the singulation quality, because in his region three maize plants are sown per metre. For if you for example lose one maize plant, yield decreases by 30 to 33%. But the Maestro convinced him: “The sowing quality is excellent.”

His statement: “We think that the Maestro is going to revolutionise farming in Brazil.”
