Territory Manager (Saskatchewan)

Job Description:

Position Available: ASAP

Reports to: Laurent Letzter, Managing Director  

Job Objective:

Manage a geographical territory while optimizing sales of HORSCH products and parts while prioritizing the highest level of customer service and loyalty. Growing sales by customer confidence is considered the prime focus. The position will be responsible for Sales support, dealer training, technical field assistance, customer demonstrations, project management, maintaining relationships with current dealers, as well as the execution of marketing activities in coordination with the dealers in the territory. Extensive travel is required for this position to include average weekly overnight stays of three (3) nights per week.

Job Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Achieve successful volumes of sales for HORSCH products within an assigned territory.
  • Passion for technology and a strong agronomic knowledge base to effectively demonstrate the value of Horsch products.
  • Develop and foster long-lasting relationships with dealer personnel and end users.
  • Supply technical field assistance, sales support, project management, customer demonstrations, and execution of marketing activities to maximize dealer engagement.
  • Develop a dealer distribution plan that includes growing sales in well-established areas and improvements in areas with potential.
  • Prepare sales plans for assigned territory for Horsch product lines.
  • Generate ideas and solutions through solid customer relationships. Follow up on customer needs by regular communication with the team.
  • Manage travel and other expenses within the defined annual budget plan.

Required skills:

  • Experience with AG equipment and farm work is a must.
  • Solid knowledge in precision agriculture, usage, setup, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of the industry and dealer functions experience is required.
  • Technical education or equivalent technical work experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-starter, ambitious & motivated with the ability to work as a team.
  • Advanced computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Two years of higher education or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Valid driver’s license and valid passport

Compensation:

This is a salary-paid position based on experience and education. Our benefit package includes Health, Dental, and Vision coverage as well as Life Insurance, Long-term Disability Insurance, employer-matched Retirement Savings Plan, and four weeks of paid vacation per year.
