The first mechanical HORSCH seed drill excels due to technical innovations in the metering and tramline control sector.

  • Universal range of applications after plough
  • For mulch seeding even on extremely heavy soils
  • After conventional tillage
  • On stony and very heavy clayey soils

The centrepiece of the drill is the electrically driven metering system called SmartClip on the drive shaft. The metering units are controlled individually. Thus, tramlines can be adjusted individually – without any tools. "Due to SmartClip. we are flexible with regard to row spacings. This is really extraordinary in this machine category. 15, 30 or 45 cm are no problem at all and neither are 12.5, 25 and 37.5 cm", Kai-Christian Schramm (product marketing) explains. The same applies to the tramline rhythm. This flexibility is especially important for machine co-operatives or if the seed drill is rented out, confirms Maximilian Kandlbinder (product management).
