Description:
The Warehouse team is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining inventory integrity. This role includes verifying product quantities, inspecting shipments, and coordinating with carriers. This role also ensures all machines are ready for transportation. This process includes tear-down of machines when necessary, loading completed machines onto assorted transportation trailers, the arrangement and upkeep of the finished machine storage lot, and transporting machines around the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Shipments:
    • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
    • Verify quantities and product specifications against purchase orders.
    • Record and manage inventory entries for all received goods.
  • Shipping Orders:
    • Prepare, package, and label products for outgoing shipments.
    • Arrange transportation and coordinate pick-up times with carriers.
    • Complete shipping paperwork and update tracking information.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies.
    • Organize and store materials safely within the warehouse.
    • Conduct regular stock checks to support inventory accuracy.
  • Documentation and Communication:
    • Ensure proper documentation for all shipments, including invoices and packing lists.
    • Communicate with internal teams regarding incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Report any damaged or missing items to management.
  • Machine Loadout/Maintenance:
    • Load machines on transport trailers.
    • Prepare machines for tow-away transportation.
    • Tear-down of machines for transportation.
    • Stage finish machines in the yard for safe storage.
    • Unload import containers.
    • Assist with inside and outside facility and grounds cleaning and maintenance including snow removal, mowing, and other necessary tasks.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to safety protocols in handling, storing, and moving goods.
    • Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
    • Proper use and care of company tools.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Company certified in the use of forklifts, cranes, and other necessary machines.
  • Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical/Work Environment:

  • Individuals may need to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods.
  • The position may require reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting 50 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required.
  • The performance of this position will require exposure to manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses with side shields, is required.
