HORSCH has revealed its advanced coulter control system, AutoForce, for its Maestro maize drills that automatically adjusts coulter pressure to varying soil conditions. The Maestro’s 300kg per row unit coulter pressure is the highest in the industry, ideal for heavy land but can cause too much compaction when moving into lighter soils. AutoForce prevents this compaction and its development follows HORSCH’s own extensive trials.

HORSCH UK is partnering with two CLAAS UK dealership groups, MANNS & KIRBY and CLAAS Southern, to provide its full range of cultivators, drills and sprayers to farmers across East Anglia and the South East. From 1st January 2017, HORSCH equipment will be available through the two dealership groups.

The new mounted Maestro from HORSCH is the ideal drill for farming operations that desire the precision of the Maestro but do not need capacity of its trailed CC and SW stablemates. The Express KR is now available as a Grain & Fertiliser version with pressurised grain and fertiliser tanks. The hopper capacity is increased to 2,000 litres enabling one tonne of seed and one tonne of fertiliser to fit easily. With this new addition, it makes Horsch is the only brand in the UK to offer grain and fertiliser application on every drill model.
