New Joker 10/12 RT
Quick stubble cultivation with large working width
The Joker RT is ideal for shallow stubble cultivation for a germination stimulation of volunteer crops, to interrupt capillarity, to mix in harvest residues and for a shallow seedbed preparation with large working widths.
The most significant innovation compared to the already known Joker RT is the middle chassis between the DiscSystem and the packer which brings about a lot of advantages. On the one hand, the weight distribution is optimal and bouncing or rocking is avoided. The centre of gravity of the machine for road transport is near the axle, thus guaranteeing a smooth and safe ride. On the other hand, due to the middle chassis the machine is more manoeuvrable and due to more space for attachments it is possible to use a double packer. The double RollPack packer with U-profile rings has a diameter of 55 cm. It is very stable, suitable for all types of soils and even at high operational speeds remains resistant to stones – a fact that is typical for a compact rotary disc harrow. The interlocking packer rings serve for self-cleaning. Their ring spacing is 13 cm resulting in a good consolidation and crumbling of the soil. Due to the middle chassis the Joker 10/12 RT runs very smoothly in the field and effectively prevents the machine from rocking or bouncing. The adjustment of the machine is very simple. Only the working depth has to be adjusted via solid and well-proven clips.
Additional double depth control wheels (15.0/55-17) exactly keep up the working depth and guarantee an excellent adaption to the field conditions. They also allow for a quick turning on the headlands and prevent the machine from rocking. The frame of the Joker RT has also been optimised. It now is more stable and is equipped with an inside folding mechanism which also guarantees stability and at the same time protects the hydraulic cylinders. Despite its working width the Joker RT folds to a transport width of 3 m by means of a special folding system. The DiscSystem with the new 52-cm discs is serrated and thus particularly suited for aggressive working and good penetration into the soil. The discs which are arranged in pairs on the suspension system guarantee a large free space and clearance for harvest residues. Field contour following and stone protection of the Joker RT are carried out via the well-proven and solid rubber bearing. The discs are equipped with an absolutely maintenance-free and low-wear bearing with oil filling. Due to the middle chassis the distance between the disc rows and the packer has increased too. Thus, the flow of soil has enough time to settle and is not thrown into the packer by the DiscSystem. This improves levelling and operational reliability.
