In the video, the Focus is used for sowing rapeseed after wheat. After the high amount of organic material was incorporated with the Cruiser at a depth of 10 cm, the next steps are the deep loosening at a depth of 35 cm, seeding and the simultaneous application of fertiliser with the Focus. One of the criteria why the farm decided to buy a Focus was that the machine is able to combine three passes in one. Thus, it was possible to minimise the costs for tillage.
Another advantage is the three-hopper system. The farm uses the double hopper to apply two different types of fertiliser, and the MiniDrill is used for sowing rapeseed.
Ulian is enthusiastic about his machine: “As two different types of fertiliser can be applied at a depth of 35 cm and the following tines can sow into the open seed furrow, we achieve a surplus yield of up to 1 t.” Moreover, he emphasises the easy operation and the efficiency of the machine.
